The prices of the real estates in Bulgaria are rising faster than the average level in EuropeAccording to Eurostat, in the last quarter of 2016, the price of Bulgarian real estate has increased by 2.4% compared to the third quarter.
This growth is much higher than in the euro area and throughout the EU, where real estates prices rose by an average of 0.8% in the fourth quarter of 2016.
Bulgaria ranks 5th after Iceland, the Czech Republic,Cyprus and Malta.
For an year, the real estate price in Bulgaria increased by 8.1% compared to the euro area average level of 4.1% and in the EU by 4.7%.
For 2016, the real estate prices rose most in Iceland (13.6%) and Norway (11.6%), which are not in the EU but are included in the European Economic Area.
